Absolutely. We don't wait for a label to put the right support in place. Our approach is needs-led, and we support families through any assessment process.

How do you keep the environment calm?

Small numbers, high staff ratios, predictable routines, and spaces designed to reduce sensory overload. Regulation is designed into the day, not bolted on.

Do you involve families?

Always. Consistent, honest communication with parents and carers, alongside practical family support, is a core part of what we do.

Do you support autistic young people and young people with ADHD?

Yes. Autistic young people benefit from predictable routines, low-arousal spaces and staff who adapt communication and expectations. For ADHD, we use movement, structure and short, focused tasks that work with a young person's attention rather than against it.

Is there support for younger disabled children?

Our alternative provision is for young people from Key Stage 3 to post-16. Care Cove also offers short breaks in Sheffield for disabled children and young people and those with additional needs, from age 5.
