Care Cove Alternative Provision is based in Sheffield and run by Care Cove Limited. It exists for the young people who don't fit the mould, and to prove that the right environment can change the course of a life.

Our story

Built from a simple, stubborn belief

Care Cove was founded on a belief that too many young people are written off too early. Exclusion, unmet SEND, trauma or simply the wrong environment can push a bright young person to the margins. Once they're there, the system rarely brings them back.

We set out to build the provision we wished existed: calm and well-resourced, high in expectation and warm in relationship, where education, therapy, vocational skill and sport work together rather than in silos. Somewhere a young person is met as a whole person and given a real route forward.

That joined-up model brings together our personalised curriculum, therapeutic support, the Vocational Academy and sport and development.

Care Cove operates within a clear governance structure with robust oversight of safeguarding, quality of education and finance. Our policies are reviewed regularly and available to commissioning partners on request.
