For schools in Sheffield: alternative provision that makes inclusion work easier

Care Cove is an alternative provision in Sheffield working alongside schools and academies. When a placement is at risk of breaking down, you need a provider who's fast, communicative and trustworthy. That's exactly what we set out to be.

A partnership around one young person.

Getting started

How to refer a pupil

A referral is the start of a conversation. A referral enquiry does not confirm a place: we talk through suitability and the next step with you.

  1. 1

    Get in touch

Complete the referral form or email hello@carecove.co.uk. We aim to respond within one working day.

  2. 2

    Share information securely

We gather the pupil's educational history, SEND or EHCP information, safeguarding and risk information and current attendance through a secure route.

  3. 3

    Agree the package and plan

Together we agree a personalised package, timetable and outcomes, with clear communication and review arrangements.

  4. 4

    A carefully-paced start

The pupil begins with a named key worker and a plan built around them. In many cases a young person can start within days of a referral being agreed.
